I played only one season, the 2022-23 season with Manchester City without doing any transfers (except selling Gundogan to Liverpool in January). Haaland top scorer with 57 goals in Premier League and a total of 90 goal in the season. I won the treble and in Premier League I won 34 games on 38, scored 118 goals and conceeded only 34 (second best defense after Manchester Utd with 25 goals conceeded). I will be making few tweaks to it per game-by-game basis I'll save this is the tactics I was looking for that works for my team. Other ticki-taka tactics I've used before create fewer chances and draw a lot of games. I love a possession based tactic but at the same time create chances and take a lot of shots and this tactic does that. Average possession was 55% and scored 94 goals in the league, 6 less than Liverpool who scored the most. I believed with few transfers in the summer and with an improved squad, we should be challenging on all fronts.
Lost the europa league final because I was missing 5 starters due to injuries and suspension Save was done with current Man Utd squad with no transfers done in January. Had key players like fernades/rashford/casamiro injured in the last stage of the season, so that might be the reason for the drop in form. Everything was going great until the last 15 games of the season in all comp when I started getting a lot of draws and losses. Results were great and we were top of the table for some time.
I holiday to the present and played the last few games at the end of the season.
